Took me quite some time. Like almost an hour due to technically difficulties.
First SteamVR BSOD at launch and I had to search for the cause which turned out to be a displaylink driver that needed to be uninstalled.
After getting into Steam VR my controllers wouldn't sync and I had to update the firmware on both of them despite there being no directions on doing so. Then I had to go into steamvr settings and manually pair the controllers which also didn't have directions for it unless I googled it.
After those two issues were fixed it was no problem.
The rest of the install time was spent finding a good spot to hook up the lighthouse units and drawing a border of my room space which was 3.6m x 3.2m.

I had high expectations and for the most part they were met.
And by high expectations I mean the capabilities of the device.
I had low expectations for the games and some fell in line with that and others fared much better.
I particularly like the spaceship game that was in Valves Lab.
I have 2 970s and was using 1 970 and all games ran smoothly except for the Mini Golf game which required an overclock to bring it to smooth levels.
While in VR gaming I almost fooled myself by leaning against an counter ingame before realizing it was not solid.
Also back into my wall when a sprinting zombie came after me in the brookhaven experiment game.

The bases are rather light but when they are on they vibrate so you shouldn't use mounting tape as it will eventually come loose.
The mounts that come in the box require two long screws for each one.
Generally it's best to put the lighthouse stations near the corners of your room and have them facing each other.
