Rape culture is not something that comes from consuming fiction.
If you live in a rape culture, there's very little room for debate on the topic. See: African slums. Since rape is socially encouraged in many circles of those shitholes, people living there can't go a month without someone that they know getting raped. Not the buzzword shit that feminists use to try to place all of the responsibility on men and all of the power in the hands of the women, either. Actual sexual assault. It's like robbery in American black communities. This is what rape culture looks like.
There is no rape culture in the developed world, bar those imported from under-developed countries. Why? Because rape is not socially embraced by the developed world. It's a handful of criminals who do the raping, and those criminals are heavily rejected by society. In order to argue otherwise, you need to first introduce a definition of rape that removes all female responsibility from the equation of consent. You can also expand rape to cover just about anything having to do with male sexuality, and accuse men of being sociopaths as a part of the process of justifying it. Accepting double standards, silencing men, and hating the presence female agency as a factor are a given in both of these steps. Basically, you can't claim rape culture in the west without hard bigotry against men and soft bigotry against women.
