In this game neutral is so much better than the rest it's not even funny. Anyway, you will get a way to change your alignment to whatever no matter what dialogue options you picked before, the only catch is that you have to do it before the ending lock, obviously.

You'll want to do the three endings anyway, so pick whatever you want. You can easily change alignments in the first sector with the goblin NPC I think
