All souls games are shit. They're just a copy and paste of the first with some extra mixins that dont work

Kinda hard to say
For story Ds1 (but 3 is a very close second)
For map design Ds1
PvP/coop would be Ds2
Pve and especially the bosses is Ds3
General gameplay elements would go to Ds3
Shitborne isn't worthy of anything as it's too watered down (with the exception of the story... Story's okay) and Demon souls, as amazing as it is, just feels like a demo of the others.

The only thing iffy right now is the PVP but it's launch so it'll be patched eventually and we'll see a meta switch overtime.
Everything overall has been consistently great though and it doesn't shit the bed half way like Das1, we also don't have DLC yet to judge the final game.
