My interest died when they announced it was digital only plus the fact that the game is really short for a JRPG.
I can't wait for Dragon Quest Heroes 2 to get ported to PC and not localized for Vita for the Western release.

Sad to say, but I'm kind of on board with this guy. Square has literally been unable to do anything right for many years, much as I loved them as a kid.
They've got the anti-Midas touch when it comes to trying to replicate their successes, and this game literally makes an appeal to those bygone times in a splash image.

Square's been doing pretty good jobs on their PC ports lately though. Lightning Returns was perfect. FFIX was the first FF game on PC to feature mouse support. And Type 0 HD didn't come to PC with any problems. Just a higher quality version than the original. There's reason to believe it'll be a good port.

Why? In both scenarios if you wanted a physical version you'd have to import. In both scenarios you get to play the game in English. The only differences is whether or not the Vita version is translated (and in your case there'd be no PC version). And even in fan translations, that doesn't necessarily mean both versions would get translated. Most likely, if someone were doing a fan translation, they might opt to only translate the PS4 version.
Why the hell would you want this game to not come over and get a fan translation specifically for the Vita version? Doesn't that come off as kind of selfish?
