Which Style is Best Style?
Also Mega Man thread I guess.
>mfw siri and cortana are baby steps on the way to create actual navis
>mfw with current rates of advancement, we will have navis in our lifetime

Man, I miss exe. I wish they'd release a collection of every game on the 3ds.

>replaying BN2
>man the Guard chip is so much fun to use
>end up getting AquaShield style
>"What the fuck is this b-"
>mfw no-damage running every boss by perfectly parrying their attacks

Technology is amazing in general. The stuff in Battle Network can become an actual thing at some point.
>>335015016
AquaShield for days, baby.
>FREE barrier
>tank 90% of attacks
>compatible with Cust programs
>hitscan 100 damage on a good reflect
>FREE HEAL on a perfect reflect
Niggers learned real quick not to plink me with their busters when we netbattled.

I loved using woodcust, just buffing my charge attack and using it on sand panels.

Would people recommend Star Force?
I played BattleNetwork when I was younger, but never Star Force.

The main reason the real world doesn't work like Battle Network is because it would be cartoonishly inefficient.
>>335017090
I enjoyed one, tried to play 2 but couldn't get into it at all. Many seem to really like 3 though.
WoodCust was my fuckin jam in 3. GrassStg for healing, plus Spice chips, and then dealing double damage with Fire was great.
>>335017090
It's crapola compared to Battle Network but if you really need a fix it might do it.
>>335017090
Yeah. Not quite as good as MMBN but still very fun. People say 2 sucked but I never played it.
>>335017160
oh yeah, grassstage plus undersht was pretty op right?
AquaGuts is the best
I skipped 2, and got WoodGuts in 3, so that's all I've ever experienced.
I liked it, though.

Yes. 1 and 2 aren't quite as good as most of the BN games to most people, 2 particularly, but they are very similar to the BN games in a lot of ways, and I dug the art style more.
Most people seem to agree that 3 is as good as the best BN games.
I only played the first two SF games myself and felt both were great and were basically just BN games with a slightly cooler art style, and don't see what people think is worse about them or what was wrong with 2 specifically.
tl;dr if you want more of what the BN games are SF is the closest you'll get and are pretty good
>>335017239
Yeah, very much so.
Wood Guts.

Which versions of the first (or/and the 2 and 3) would you guys who played them recommend?
>>335017524
Literally whichever has the coolest looking boxart to you
>>335017524
It's not like White/Blue where one version is literally lighter on content. They're all the same shit with recolored super forms.
>>335015016
Shadow Style is best style.
>>335017090
You're a business executive that's gotten hooked on high-quality coke from business meetings.
One day at home you really need to have some, so you look to find some locally.
You find a dealer selling some low quality shit, but you need it.
That's Star Force.
>>335018021
Should I get into MMBN instead?
I just think the art style is prettier in SF.
>>335018196
Play through all of BN, then go on to Star Force if you're really jonesing.

You mean second best.
