Im running it with a 970 maxed out at 60fps constant but it is true that the game is an unoptimised piece of shit.
It has the same technical issues as the witcher 3 on consoles and even the most retarded soulsdrone can see that witcher 3 is leagues ahead in terms of graphics + it is an open world.

Except it uses culling. It actually uses a lot of technical tricks to get this shit working. Those coupled with the excellent art design really helps to even get any of this shit on screen at this level of detail.
I have a decent PC but got souls on ps4 just in case of hackers on PC.

This game has a very low level of detail, it's last-gen as fuck dude.
It's also using piss poor culling, just look at how fog gates appear at Firelink as a perfect example.
The game runs poorly on all platforms, the developer is just garbage at optimization.
