>inb4 power supply
It's supposed to go in like that. No idea why they designed it that way but it's getting replaced soon

1. route your cables properly
2. place another fan here, zip tie to mount it if need be.

I had the same sort of setup with my PSU, I found putting another fan there helped cool the GPU down more as they were just pushing air against eachother fucking up the air flow.
>>
>>334957347
cable management dude, holy shit
>>
>>334957347
>he bought nvidia
seriously though, I hope you can play all the fun games you've been missing out on. Try out mount and blade warband if you haven't, or the new unreal tournament if you want to fuck shit up while testing your new hardware.
>>
>>334958126
Cables are not long enough to fit any other way. Would have managed if I could

You play any of the games you previously didn't have access to that interested you

That's a Titan I was gifted a couple months ago.

That's why I built the PC in the first place

Nice meme

the lights look brighter than they are because of how cameras work. it won't be that disruptive in person

>>
>>334958463
The only game I know i will pay is Skyrim (with mods because I've always wanted to) and DotA2

Idk what games to get honestly. I like story driven shit a lot. Non-MMO co-op is cool.
>>
>>334958042
>putting zip ties on a half blocked fan

you're fucking stupid.

just put a fan in the bottom pushing air inside and it will work much better.

Get the Witcher games when they're on sale. I played the first one just a year ago then went and upgraded all my shit to play the rest.

Try Divinity Original Sin.
What's the prob with the PSU? Shit brand or something?

as long as you didn't intentionally buy it in the current year we're cool.

Your power supply is gonna get instagibbed under load though. shit looks like it's like 300 W. Did it come with that case? if yes, replace immediately. either way you can spend 50 americuck bucks for a decent psu that won't allahu akbar your shit and take all your components with it.

also I hope that's an 8 GB ram stick in there, you are gonna get buttfucked if you try to play anything less than 2 years old with only 4 gigs of ram
t. guy who had 4GB until last week

hope you got that shit for free too or atleast plan to get a decent cpu cooler. A recent i7 is a waste if your just playing games, using a stock cooler on a k processor is completely disgusting also. You on win 7?
>>
>all these anons hating on OP when theyre running toasters themselves

Looks like a good base setup man.
As others have said, that psu has to go, id be afraid to even use it assuming its 500w or less. That titan draws a ton of power.
If that psu goes out, good chance itll take the gpu/cpu with it
>>
>>334958391
Not OP but there's literally nothing wrong with mounting PSU fan-up. Especially if that shits sitting on the floor.
>>
>>334959835
Win10 and I'm a visual effects artist. I render your movies and shit for a living.

Or at least that's what I'm in Uni for.

Also, I have an aftermarket cooler. I just don't have it up there because

a) My processor didn't come with one so I borrowed it from my roommate
b) I realized it too late and my package came in later
c) I'm waiting until this Friday when I upgrade my PSU to switch out the cooler
>>
>>334960113
I meant it looks like a cheap chinese brand piece of shit that will light up on fire if he goes on full load
>>
>>334960082
Its 520W and it's going soon

>>334960301
It's insignia so it's technically American
>>
>>334960164
your good then, skylake cpus are losing support for 7 soon. better watch out for that botnet though.
>>
>>334960372
Does your case have an intake slot under the psu?
If it does, you can flip the psu upside down so both the intake and exaust never go inside the case. Check it out when you put your new one in.
>>
>>334957347
>It's supposed to go in like that.

Seeing as how your case seems to have ventilation holes at the bottom, no, it's not supposed to go like that.

Your cable management sucks, you forgot to plug in your rear exhaust fan (and the cable for it is guaranteed to get caught up in your CPU fan), and your PSU is upside down.

Other than that, not too bad. Now you play some games.

You are wrong. You mount your PSU with an external intake if your case supports it so that you're not trying to cool the device that is spitting out hundreds of watts of power using warm air from your case.

Using your PSU as an exhaust fan for your case is full retard, this is why the industry shifted from top mounting to bottom mounting, modern cases let the PSU pull cool air from outside of the case and exhaust warm air outside of the case, removing it from your thermal setup entirely.
>>
>>334961081
>but you fell for the 970
I bought it at launch, 3 months before the memory issue was disclosed
Upgraded from a 760. So far it's been performing fine
