Sonic has been shit since Sonic Adventure redesigned him and completely changed his personality and art style. Also the games have been shit since then too, completely misunderstanding why the 2D games were good. I love this look, how he actually acts cool and smug instead of being a Goku type, Sonic CD was the pinnacle of this with the animation it had.
