Nobody has ever compared those two games or franchises and nobody ever would if they didn't have such different metacritics.
Yeah, it looks by all accounts that Star Fox isn't good, but I don't see why everyone thinks Ratchet & Clank is somehow relevant to that.

If it makes you fell better, Star Fox may not be the one with the biggest fall frim grace this year, just wait until DOOM 4 comes out and you'll see how you truly fuck up a series
I'd rather play a game I know I'm going to play a lot and get way more than 2-3 hours out of than a remake that has less content than the original.
SF0 looks like it has a lot of new content in the form of levels. In the new R&C's case I'd rather just replay Going Commando since I know I'm going to get a much more fulfilling experience.
