Started with dark souls 1. how do I get good guy? Im being serious its fun but damn I dont know where to go or how to get good.
Start with Demon's Souls.

Keep your sheild up, circle strafe, put your sheild down, backstab.
Odds are you're not going to understand anything your first time playing around
Find a guide to explain builds, pick one, play it through
Once you get a feel for how things work you won't need to rely on guides as much later on, though there are some really obscure things you'd have probably never discovered without them.

Play them all, they each have something to offer. Demon's Souls is a little clunky but it sets the stage for the series. Most people agree that Dark Souls is by far the best because of it's incredible atmosphere and sense of progression, although quality drops off VERY steep after the last linear area. Dark Souls II gets a bad rap but other than the shitty story, world design, and SHOCKWAVES it's alright. Can't say much for Bloodborne or Dark Souls III but from what I've seen they're just the natural progression of the series.

I think Demon's was really somthing else at the time but these days its really nothing special. The enemies are really pathetic and the boss fights are worse. For every cool boss like Old King Allant you get 3 lame bosses like Leech Monger or Trashman.

Souls series has nothing to do with really being good besides a few bosses in BB/DaS3 and maybe Fume Knight/OnS.
The rest of the games just involve making good decisions that are usually fucking obvious in the first place. You get killed for being impatient/reckless but its not hard to avoid these things since there is rarely pressure to stray from being patient.
