As of about 4 AM EST last night, From initiated a wave of softbans to cheaters and hackers. The ban issues you a warning to delete your saves or be soft banned, but it seems that even if you do the damage is done and you're in the shitter server.
Apparently however, it appears that some legitimate players have received a softban as well, as the cheat detection is garbage and picks up things like x360ce and DXtory as cheats.

In DaS2 From never reverted softbans, in any case ever really, even people who were injustly (lol) banned never got their bans reverted. All you can do is accept and learn to deal with it, it's not the end of the world anyway, you can still play online, though with a slightly worse community.
Playing on regular servers is not a right, it's a privilege, if you break the rules you get softbanned, simple as that, you still have the right to play your own but you won't shit the game for everybody else in the process.

If you still get the message it might be something else affecting your game, do you have any modifications like SweetFX or Borderless Fullscreen enabled? Do you have OSD apps like Fraps? Also any software that might be interfering with your game such as Logitech Software should be removed. Disable those and see if the message is gone, if it is you know why.

You can play online and see messages and shit, but you cannot connect or be connect to players with legit copy of the game. Only pirates can connect to each other.
The problem is you can still see everyones summon sign so 99% of the time you try to summon anyone it wont work.
If you seen anyone with "RVT" in their name then they are pirates, they use RVT to find each others summon signs.
I tried it and it's honestly deader than DaS1 online is right now.
