I get MMORPGs just to fuck around with the character creation then I disregard the game the moment I have created my character.
The only game I don't do this in is The Sims. There I have great fun making agony for my created characters and play them until they die from malnutrition or something.

I usually spend anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes on a character, take screenshots and write down all slider settings, then start from zero and create at least 4-5 more characters from scratch. And then pick the one I liked the most.

I swear to god, you could take any combination of existing words and their variations from Thesaurus and they were all taken. It was always a huge pain in the ass to get a name that works. Proper names aren't good for super heroes/villains.

I honestly don't remember what my first 50 was. Either my old Spines/Regen Scrapper or some kind of Blaster. My Empath and Peacebringer were my most played after that.

They actually had one of the better f2p models I've seen in an MMO, especially in regards to their veteran players. Actually being able to play content from expansions I had already paid for seems like a no-brainer, but then I tried Everquest and found almost every class, race, and starting location locked down.
