Why do people say that PS2 had the best games of sixth gen when this game existed?
Ninja Gaiden is an amazing action title and completely BTFOs anything PS2 had

Ninja gaiden black was a fun game, but its fans are so fucking obnoxious. You're like the undertale, Jojo, MLP etc fans of the PS2 era.
Also, the game itself was forgettable as fuck. while I remember having fun, I don't remember almost anything that happened. If I didn't have the save file to prove that I finished it I would be unsure if I'd ever even played the whole thing. The only bits I remember are being on some kind of blimp (?), and fighting a skeleton dragon thing in a sewer (?). And maybe there was a tank at some point. I feel like a large portion of the game was spent running around some kind of modern city.

As much as I love Ninja Gaiden Black and replayed it so many times, the PS2 still had the better library of games, it covered pretty much any genre at the time. Xbox and Gamecube have some god-tier games, but they weren't a jack of all trades like the PS2

Be honest guys, were you 14 or younger when you played GoW? I'm genuinely interested? If you were, then yeah I can understand. God of war probably seems really cool to kids with its hyperviolence, but the combat is just so fucking shallow I doubt anyone over that age could enjoy it. The games are all spectacle and no depth - and thats coming from someone who can enjoy Dynasty Warriors games. Something about GoW is just so slow and boring.

They're not really that similar aside from being hack and slashes. DMC3's about styling on enemies with crazy self-made combos while NGB is about trying to kill everything in the room in what feels like one smooth, continuous motion.

well I was 20 when GoW2 came out, so no. hyperviolence I don't care about - I think my favorite thing about the games were the design of the levels. The designs of the bosses and environments were bigger and cooler than anything else I had seen at that point. Plus the gameplay was fluid, and the puzzles were reasonably satisfying. DMC fags are delusional as usual. I mean I don't even know where you got the idea that it has more weapons but that's not true by any stretch. Plus ninja gaiden has more combos and variety with their weapons to boot, even if you include swordmaster style. Plus DCM's punching bag enemies offer virtually no challenge and the movement system is just ass by comparison which means you'll be juggling most of the time instead of moving around while fighting.
