I'm using the skeleton king sword since it's the first faith weapon I've found so far.
Actually I'm not super keen on it because it looks like hot garbage, but wrath of the gods is a really nice special. If you hit someone with the plunging animation you can stagger them long enough to get the explosion and while kneeling you're so much lower to the ground that a lot of enemy attacks fly straight over your head.
Right now its kicking all sorts of ass against these whirling dervishes in the ice town but I'll probably have to replace it for something that actually scales off faith eventually.

With my BKGA, without weapon arts, I have 680 AR. No idea how much with it. But it does hit for like an extra 100-150

The Wolf Knight's Greatsword became stronger by like five points of damage at +5 than my +10 Refined Claymore so I started using that at the very end of my playthrough and in PvP.

Fire clutch ring, since it adds 15% more damage to both the fire damage from the weapon AND the buff from the weapon art. Without Buff it sits at around 660-670 I think, I don't remember the exact number.
Arty's GS was better in DaS 2. I've been using the Old Wolf Curved Sword and Twinspears. I was using the Initial D Greatsword before but it hits like shit.

It looks boss and the WA is pretty strong if it fully connects, otherwise the damage is nothing special. I poked the Havel npc to death with it, and some straight sword shitters can't seem to deal with spears. Deals pretty good damage to NK's dragon though.

What? No, they still most certainly give bulk souls when you kill a boss. You can choose to get extra souls by destroying the boss soul, but its rarely worth it unless you are absolutely desperate.

Some people find slow heavy weapons fun, some people like poking with spears fun, others like weapons that cast lightning/fire spell like effects and others find status effect stacking fun.
Swordspear, profaned/lorian greatswords, warden twinblades, maracas hammers are different enough to be fun and still decent.
