Not OP but I never saw him after I freed him, though in fairness I think I only had 5-1 and 5-2 to do after I freed him. I read up on it after I'd completed it and I remember seeing the dead bodies in the nexus but I don't think anyone else died, unless it's some chump like Freke's apprentice or Umbasa lady who I wouldn't notice going missing anyway.

You get the best track music in the game if you do. And you get a special red summoning stone for invasion fuckery. But it's useless now because dead servers and by now everyone knows what red players in Souls mean.
