DX:MD looks like they learn shit from DX:HR and took the plot point of Witcher 1-3 to heart. Which is, Geralt starts off as a bum who relearns everything as plot develops, becoming the proper Witcher in 3. Same in DX:MD. Jensen has more abilities and shit because he's gotten used to his augments and has been willing to upgrade himself from Sariff Industries stuff.
I think it's cool. It explains how abilities suddenly appeared in his armoury.
