Maybe gutting the selling point of GTA IV for GTA V made it run "smooth" on consoles. Then when they did the next gen version they never updated it kinda like how they never did squat about the shitty lack of NPCs, animals, etc in multiplayer.

its good, not extremely good. it has a couple of pretty obvious flaws. the dialogue is not interesting and mainly consists of the protags bickering at each other. and the map is poorly designed, gta doesn't work as well when everything is smashed together into a single island. it takes away the feeling of discovering a new island, not to mention the northern part of the map is a chore to navigate.
It's great fun, unless you play solo. SP is pretty shit, but Online is good despite its issues. VIP mode is the shit, and an easy ass way to make money hand over fist.
Just today, it was hilarious seeing racing-fags bust a blood vessel over Benny's Sabre. Shit looks nice, and is a good muscle car in free roam.
Thinking of creating a Mexican or Nig character to roleplay a gangster. Not sure yet.

It is unquestionably the best car, it is also the biggest issue with GTA online. Bigger than any server issues, load times, payout, shark cards. The only thing that even comes close is the homing launcher.

It's a very cheap move, but I employ it because fuck the homing launcher. Have the driver have his quick menu up and ready to select passive mode. Everyone continue as usual and fuck people's shit up. As soon as the pilot hears that missile coming, have him select passive. Turn passive on and continue destroying them. Repeat as much as necessary. (Doesn't work with VIP as you can't select passive)
I would have preferred if it was the same as in the Heists where it takes 3 missiles to take it down.

That doesn't even make sense. GTA V's only redeeming feature is graphics and having a unique driving model (that unfortunately is about as deep as driving an RC car).
I'm not even saying that a game like SA is so much deeper, but it was way more likable. The characters aren't annoying. The game doesn't make you rich after 8 missions..
The only point in playing GTA V is a fresh GTA story, but what makes a GTA game is the little things inbetween missions. That's why IV is a better game.
