All the prerelease talk from people who've played through the game has been INCREDIBLE negative. I suspect it will get a mid 50s to high 60s on Metacritic. The game has far, far too many problems: the bad graphics, unworkable controls, rehashed SF64 gameplay, basically no modes. Platinum didn't even codevelop much of it. They made some models and that's it.
The game made too many concessions for the controls. It took up too much of the development time so the game is light on pretty much everything except the controls and the controls are bad.
It really sucks. Nintendo has completely fucking lost it and I'm about done with the company. It's run by idiots and they can't even prioritize quality games anymore.
