and some point at night you can participate in auction and you can buy a treasure chart with a silver rupee in it around windfall island
you can get some soup thats reallly good that doubles your attack power

No Tingle tuner and the triforce hunt has been simplified. You also have some sort of miiverse integration, you can get faster sails, and the bloom has been cranked up to insane levels as you've already seen. Those are the differences I know of between the remake you have and the Gamecube version. Tipwise, all I can say this early on is that there's a bottle on the way to dragon Roost before the first dungeon hidden in a submarine. Don't miss it!

wind waker was at its best early on with the first two dungeons. when the destination was a streamlined and with a few optional stops along the way. when the sea opens up the pacing slows down, it becomes a series of cut dungeons / shitty fetch quests, and there's a feeling of disappointment when the game's most robust and fleshed out islands have already been visited and almost everything else in the game is a fairy fountain or a rock with a treasure chest of rupees or a heart piece on it
JUST PLAY THE FUCKING GAME!
Honestly? brace for disappointment and obvious cut content that will grind your gears.

earth and wind temples are both escort dungeons with tedious gimmicks and the tower of gods is a linear with nothing but shoot the eye with an arrow and slide the block along the groove "puzzles"
