I was 7 playing around at elementary school
I was a senior in highschool and playing the shit out of Starcraft, and also for the first time dipping my toes into a significant use of emulation, particularly of fan translations of games which never made it to America like FF5, SD3 etc. So much fucking fun. Somewhere around there I think is when Tales of Phantasia first became somewhat functional in SNES9X, my memory has faded a bit but I think it at first required pre-ripped graphics packs to work since real time emulation of the chip couldn't be done. DeJap had their whacky translation out first, good times. Damn fun game. I was also getting more into anime.Basically my path was set to ultimately end up here. T-thanks Internet.
