The game looks like it is going to play similar to Descent down to the equipment and skills. Would be worth picking up if there was going to be support for it outside of launch or if they outlined exactly how they would handle the different settings.

It's not a meme game for the true fans. My friend got me into it and he played since demon souls. By the time I learned of it Dark souls 2 was a few months away and the Dark Souls PC port was notoriously trash and unplayable with m+k, and I didn't have a controller so I waited for DaSII.

The Battlestar Galactica boardgame is fantastic even though it arose out of the show's meme status. Sometimes these things just work out.
But this just looks like a Descent ripoff. It might be a good buy if you just want decent resin casts (assuming they're decent) of a bunch of DS characters, but I doubt it's going to be anything special as a game.

It's the only way I like to play it, and I used to PvP rather often too. All you have to do is turn off auto-wall recovery and you're free to reorganize your controls+change camera speed.
2 on other hand is unplayable trash because of the stupid regular and power attack mapping, forcing you to use autokey. But if you use autokey you can get softbanned in same way as someone using CE.
