Yes. I am. With splitscreen, all you needed is one copy of the game and an extra controller. Unline on-line gaming, splitscreen last forever. We'll be able to play Smash 64 for decades. Can't say the same for console online games. It's a shame man. Split-screen is the best.

lack of split screen in halo 5 is why i didn't buy an xbone. while the xbone does have some cool looking games, halo 5 would've been the tipping point and they fucked it up.

Not really. Having grown up mostly playing stuff on LAN with PC's I've always hated splitscreen. It's just a terrible way to experience multiplayer most if the time I think.

I imagined games especially RPGs to have more tows more characters on screen more moves more monsters at a time and basically just more everything. Now some jrpgs don't even have towns and side content any more. All games regressed at the cost of graphics and splitscreen took the hardest hit.

I can only get shitty DSL in my area, not only do updates take 6 and a half years, unless I play in the dead of night there is a high chance I will lag at some point.
Playing online really isn't an option for me, or rarely is, as my internet speed is wonktastic.
Another big problem for me is lots of stuff being digital only, or starting digital and getting a physical release "later". I can't download full games, it would take a month.

You could have 'left' on the d pad make the screen appear transparent over the TV screen and have 'right' on the D Pad a button that makes you jump to one of the other players, with A and B doing the other two players
