Stupid name aside, how has this game come out to no fanfare?

It's not only a true Supreme Commander sequel, but also pioneering the optimization DX12 can give us.

Why is no one talking about this?

bumping because of irony

It only has 700 reviews for fucks sake.

Sins of a Solar Empire, their last game was amazing.

What the fuck happened here?
>>
/v/ gushes over RTS games up until they actually sit down and play one, similarly to AFPS and anything that takes any real effort to get into.

Yeah but we have SupCom threads all the fucking time, and when the spiritual successor that not only pushes the genre forward but showcases new technology it slips so far under the radar that there hasn't been a single thread since release?

If I was a conspiracy man this'd almost smell fishy.

I mean, this is a pretty big deal and no one (myself included) even knew it came out last fucking month.

for one think you keep pushing the supcom sequel label

the last time someone tried that we got Planetary Annihilation..

Yeah, but AoS actually turned out GOOD. Yes, I know I'm shilling it, but just from a tech perspective and that it comes out from a company as tiny as StarDock means that some should fucking shill a little.

I read a review and it basically says it was a sham
>2 faction so alike they could just keep one like it was at the beginning
>no strategy just launch your big ass army and that's all
>pretend to have 10 time bigger map but with also 10 time bigger building and unit so it's irrelevant with the scale

>just from a tech perspective
yeah but from a game perspective it's not good
>>
I'm downloading it as a benchmark as we speak.
>>
they could only get Quill18 to advertise this thing

It is absolutely nothing of the sort.

lolno

Garbage game

Garbage optimization

DX12 isn't even close to being utilized properly. It runs even worse than games did when they first started using DX11. Give it another year or two.
