>>334805746
Its going alright
>>334805746
I was thinking about doing one
Do you get a money every time someone watches or how does it work
I want the Jontron money, I don't just want to do it as a hobby

delay the time the music kicks in. It gives away the joke too early
I'm planning to put together a /tg/ podcast and host it on YouTube since actual podcast sites cost money. I'm going to assume people know how to download YouTube videos as mp3s.

Holy shut anon
Better than expected

why don't you just record it as an mp3, upload to YouTube, and upload to SoundCloud/Dropbox literally anywhere you can give downloads away
>>334806372
I already tried SoundCloud, you're limited to 300 minutes of content.

EHhhh it's okay I guess. 37 subs so far, my 2 friends asked me to help them out when they had a falling out with the other person they were doing videos with. I enjoy making video's even though I think they're pretty trash. But god they're hard to work with, super controlling, they always talk about wanting to expand, make this their thing, but whenever I suggest a way to do so, they get all antsy and act like we're arguing about things. But you really cant be putting out 3 minute videos once a week and expect to gain a following. Anyone have a way I could talk to people this stubborn, the last time I tried once of them threatened to quit because he didnt want change.
The channel in question https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCv_YWj9XZPd1BqIIe18k_aA

I really enjoy your video's, keep it up

How is this videogames.
Fuck off.

7/10 I like it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzvz9kg73FU
Anything wrong with it?
I mainly use it to show shit off to my friends, usually mecha or fucking around in games with decent character creation. I actually feel like learning how to do some decent video editing soon.
I actually lost the channel to copyright strikes and didn't get it back for like a year which really put me off for a long time.

Weegee you in here?

Where's the video faggot, it's been 1 month since the last smack talk.Just kidding, love your work don't rush it.

>puppet guy is almost always the only guy who gets consistent random praise in these threads
Not fooling anyone there chief
I made really racist comments and anyone can tie them to my channel if they wanted
Am I fucked if I get more popular?
>>334806018
>>334806349
You need to work on your posts. Posting the same videos in the same way every thread makes you look stale. Be creative!
>>334805746
>making a lets play channel
>actively contributing to a growing cancer
It's really nice that you want free Internet money but there are hundreds upon thousands of Lets Players that are more charming and talented than you and also probably have better equipment and skill. And are already fucking popular.
The Lets Play ship has sailed, you aren't bringing anything new to the table, you aren't going to make it big. Stop being part of the fucking problem..
>>334813129
What the fuck are you on about?
>>334813612
>Make videos because it's fun or to show off something interesting in a game
>No monetization on a single one
>Cancer
Not everyone is out to make a quick buck.

What specifically about /tg/? I like the miniatures tabletop and painting and I do stream me painting them but I would be interested in a podcast for different games.
Anyone interested in running an anime weekly podcast with me? I want to do a skype version with overlays (I can make them) talking about weekly anime episodes, announcements in the industry and maybe a "call to light" section where we highlight either an older anime or related video game. I don't know if me running this solo would be as interesting since I would have to do production and talk at the same time. Also playing off another person is always nice.
W-well I made a video game rip recently.
Like a few minutes ago.
It was my first one, I wanna know if I did good.

Yes I'm shilling my new channel
>>334813523
I am working on new videos, I actually posted my lasted new video.
I am doing a lot of new things, actually.

I do playthroughs and reviews of old games, as well as let's plays of obscure spooky/weird games. Check it out if it interests you, thanks!

>Made a video that got 30K views in one week
>Got 300 subscribers from this
>It gets blocked worldwide for a fucking song about Cleveland being shitty, the one that says "At least we're not Detroit"
It wasn't even monetized, fuck this gay earth.
>>334814585
>>334813523
Same goes to you
I'm doing a Let's Play of DEADBOLT, a stealth action game made by the same people who made Risk of Rain. Here's the latest part in that series - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSGrJOhUnz0.
Yes I'm trying to work on the overall audio quality. No there is nothing I can do about how I speak, I have brain problems that can only be medicated, not cured. I could probably use a good night's sleep though. That will make things better.
i feel like doing a bad company 2 video but dont know what to do
i know the game is old but its fun as fuck
So now that Super Bunnyhop is slowly becoming shit, who is the new /v/ approved games journalist?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoYjayrKRDs
>>334816478
The only journalist /v/ has ever approved of is /v/ itself.
>>334813523
Thanks for the feedback. I do struggle to get content out as i'm working a job, studying and also working on a short cyberpunk film (pic related).
With smack talk I do try and vary my reviews. Not all of them are video games:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpEBHcBtOGM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BTaRyiR719o
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwU8R4u13kQ
Video game reviews are getting increasingly hard to make as my computer is crap and over 3 years old. I want to review the new mirrors edge and deus ex. Just need to save my shekels to get a new rig and I certainly don't make money from this and never intend to either.
>>334813242
If you're worried about something you said on Youtube, just delete the comment. Then the only means they have to look it up is the Way Back Machine.
>>334811784
I just want to make content I like and share it with people. Sure, being a Let's Player would be my ideal job, but I already get money from the government for being retarded, and as someone who grew up poor I've come to value what money can get me more than money itself. That's just my take on it.
>>334805934
That looks cool. I kind of want to play that game now.
>>334805860
Money is based on how many advertisements you show to people, and in the case of Youtube Red how long people watch your content. Then there's brand deals, Patreon, sponsorships, and a bunch of other things Youtubers can make use of to get money. Of course in order to really make money you have to actually be a success, and the chances of that happening are pretty random. It's better to go into Youtube looking to have fun and make content you like and let the being able to live off of it be a reward that maybe comes to you later down the line. Though it probably doesn't hurt to do things like calls to action and generally do the things that will really make you popular on Youtube, which I won't lie, will pretty much require you to be a class clown and a whore at the same time. Maybe check out videos on how other Youtubers do that kind of thing?
