A labyrinth typically does not have dead ends. It is different from a maze. It realize on disorientation through awkward turns and what not to converge at a center.
Not saying anyone in this thread is claiming it, just think it's an interesting factoid you autists might appreciate.

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup has rare special areas that are literally classical labyrinths, complete with shifting walls and a minotaur boss. Unlike the rest of the game the main danger isn't monsters, it's starving to death while trying to find the exit.
