I guess it was more than a day - installing BF3 when it was free. Luckily regional servers have low ping (Singapore was about 50 ms).
You privileged niggers don't know what patience is until you live in a 3rd world.
>>334768376
If you mean install and not download, then like 3 hours the first time I installed AA2
>>334769174
i live in the 1st world and i currently have to work to pay my way through the first couple classes of university for a fully financially covered degree that might not even guarantee me a cushy job due to my joy of physics and not engineering. you don't know the meaning of privilege.
WoW:BC, had dialup levels so it took two or three days.
>>334769353
>be me
>live in a 3rd world
>work for 8 hours + overtime
>salary reduced by fucking 30 percent income tax
>groceries
>currently taking master degrees with irregular schedule
>pay for internet bill
>FUCKING 2999 Php(64~ usd) for a FUCKING 3MBPS speed
Yeah, would trade on your place anytime.
>>334769826
lel i get 30 and i don't even pay for it. but for real i am stressing out about whether i should pursue physics or just take computer science for a cushy job. i don't want to be a code monkey and want to make shit like fusion reactors or newer batteries via condensed matter theories. it hurts mang ;-;

Atleast you're place can be pretty rewarding. I believe in you, f-am.

>after more than 24 hours give up
>Cancel the installation
9 hours for pirated version of GTAV.
Didn't even work.
>>334768620
yea I can't remember the exact titles but I remember torrenting some obscure crap that took a month due to shit seeders
GTAV took an absurd amount of time to install on PS4.
>>334770201
i believe in you as well, just not as much as i believe in /sci/'s memes about physics having no place in the industrial sector due to engineers invading it like wildfire.
>>334769826
>>334770040
>tfw $40/mo for 100mbps
>split in 2 cause roommate
I sure do love being white.
DCUniverse I think it took 9 hours and I had to leave it one overnight. I just wanted to make my own hero. The game itself was pretty garbage.
>>334768376
I spent more time installing fucking black ops dlc's
>tfw google fiber being installed here
They can take all my personal info I dont even care.
>>334770470

MGS4 took 8 hours to install for some reason. Went to the chip shop, watched Seinfeld and Everybody Loves Raymond and went to bed.
>>334769826

To be white is to be right
I think it took 20 hours for me to download ArmaIII from Steam. That was rough.
>>334769174
We went through dial-up, kiddo. It took me DAYS to download Everquest.
Some old DOS game. 1 second to install. 2 days of trying to figure out how to get DOS to recognize the files.
>>334768376
3 days
2 hours for GTA 5, not worth it at all.
>>334768376
Took me a whole day to download Max Payne 3 with shitty Canuckistan internet.Fuck you Bell.
>>334768376

>>334768376
About 4 hours, it was The Phantom pain, i download at 1,5 MB/sec.
A whole afternoon, WoW had so many patches.
I remember when I got WoW in Jan 2005 on my old computer, I was downloading that shit for 4 days straight. Booted it up, played for awhile, got maybe a level 6 character before logging off. Then my computer died.
When ToAU in FFXI hit it took me a week on my toaster thanks to how awful PlayOnline was mixed with congestion
>>334768943
>1.1 MB/s
I remember for my 14th birthday my buddy got me UT2004 on CD and that fucker had like 8 install CDs.

Teaching feelings comes first with a lovely one year and 17 days and some hours, my internet was horrid at the time (intermittently working 1mbps DSL) and having, I shit Ye not, 0.5 seeders and at least 17 other people torrenting the game.
Doom 95 comes in a close second at something like 11 months because of how long it took to find a working copy and a computer that could run it (Windows Vista was spewing bullshit about missing DirectPlay drivers and wouldn't let me run it without them).
Nearly 12 years for a copy of Mortal Konbat for DOS. Started download of the disk images over 300 baud from a BBS, but it was only the second disk. Never found an image of the first disk or anything until recently I bought a box of floppies which had disk 1 only in it.
November 1993 - February 2005. Never forget.
>>334775976
I play it on PC now, but when I had the game on 360 my console would always crash and shut down during Besieged.
>>334774684
Never get Bell
