The delay is annoying at first but you get used to it fairly quickly. In the end it hardly matters because your turn speed is limited anyway.

Not him, but I live in eastern US and lag has really not been a problem for me. I've had maybe two or three deaths total that I would attribute to lag. There's absolutely some delay which is kind of annoying, but it's typically no where near enough to actually effect the outcome for me.

what i did was compare slither.io to the actual game's shitty servers
When you see some big ass snake going turbo mode for more than 2 seconds, 7/10 he's going to die. When that happens just wait a few seconds and witness the tens of morons going turbo mode and just killing themselves in the clusterfuck of snakes that the corpse of the big one created.
Then you can just eat the huge stack of balls, or kill the survivor while he's too busy gorging himself in turbo mode to notice you're trying to kill it.
