Anyone running the game in old hardware?
I'm running this in on Radeon 6800HD and in some zones it kind of gets unbearable.
Anyone running the game in old AMD harware that has some tips?
I tried running it on a Radeon 8750HD and it's barely playable on 720p onwards.

I'm playing it on a 5770 Oc. I'm getting nice frames but little freezy between zones.
The lighting effects are the biggest FPS drag, from what I've seen

run it on high normally and i get 45-50 fps with framerate dips to 30fps
turn in to low settings when I fight bosses tho.
the game is horribly optimized, runs like shit and doesn't look that nice.

Bought it for PC, but it kept on crashing randomly.
None of the supposed tricks and fixes worked for me.
Refunded it and bought it for PS4.

It's strange because on 1 I had huge FPS issues regardless of the area I was in, even with DSFix.

Ram is 12gb, but that doesnt really matter as much
40-60, hovers around 50 give or take. Low doesnt give a noticable boost at all.

I wish I knew why. I believe I can safely conclude that when my 980 Ti can run whatever I throw at it at whatever settings I want, but DaSIII staggers to 45 frames at certain times at 40% GPU usage, something is fucked up somewhere. Maybe it depends too much on the CPU? I'm not sure. But it most certainly has problems.

Seriously? I've dropped everything to the absolute lowest on my 6850 (1gb VRAM) for the sake of consistency, and the hitching is still severe in the firelink shrine and on the upper levels of Cathedral of the Deep. Changing power consumption settings to performance was the one major boost for me.

Too bad the only setting that actually has any effect is the resolution. Its alright, Im proud of my shitty 7850 for being able to handle it at 1080.
Anyone here tried it with a GTX 770 2GB?
Also, how CPU intensive is it? My CPU is a shite Phenom II X4 955BE

Not particularly old hardware but newer, crappy hardware, at 900p.

I get anywhere from 40-60 generally with everything on low, 30-40 if I crank it all up to max.
Performance is acceptable given how cheaply I built the machine but I get weird drops in certain spots here and there, going from 50+ down to 30, or even stutters down below 5-10 sometimes. Particle effects are the biggest offender, but overall its fine and I'm glad it runs as well as it does. Built it for much less than the cost of a console and I can crank it up to max and still get better performance than on console.

I have the same GPU but I have an i3 4330. Game generally runs ~40 frames at high settings and 1080p, sometimes it'll jump to 50ish in nothing areas.

Playing on 7970m with 2960xm, 30-45fps at 1080, almost everything maxed.
Only one crash so far with latest drivers.
