I beat Consumed King alone with 4 Estus Flasks.

Dragonslayer Armor was harder; Lothric has no HP.
Feeling the opposite on SoC.
Using +5 dragonslayers spear because I saw he is weak to ligtning, hitting for ~365 buffed about a hundred less when it runs out. And when he's stunned I can use the skill for over a thousand.
Don't know if that's too low but I can't beat it yet. If I get hit once I have to heal or another hit will kill me.
Tried a 100% physical shield with 89% fire res and attacks still take atleast a quarter of my health. I'm hard set on beating it jw if I sound underleveled or am I just playing that poorly (I should of been to bed hours ago but I wanted to beat this guy before).

This. The combat is slow as fuck 99% of the time. The only 'difficulty' comes when you rush things because it's boring as fuck. It's just Monster Hunter but even easier.

But that's the trade off though, summoning already makes the fight 10 times easier in most cases so if your phantom dies you should be penalized.

He isn't really hard. You just have to evade his dash attacks and you're good and that one 360, but he looks straight at you while you're behind him, so it's a perfect clue for evasion.
He just bothers me, when he spams his dash from one side of the room to another, basically just running to get him.
