I bought a modmic and am disappointed with the quality. I also have a desktop I just dont like my voice to change based on proximity. Any recommendations on good headset mics/headsets?
Also to op separate headphones and separate mic is FAR better. A Google search would have shown you this very quickly, most "headsets" are garbage compared to standalone headphones.
I use a yeti and sennheiser 598s and it is a very good combo. The 598s are very comfortable and good headphones.
