>make one of the best gaming mouses
>cheap, simple design, great 5 button layout
>kinda dumb "bumpy" paintjob, otherwise flawless
>stop making them altogether
>Now only make retarded spaceship part looking mice with useless plastic bits sticking out of it
>alternatively, metallic fucking mouse that you can put weights in it

What the fuck is Logitehc thinking? The MX510 and 512 were the best fucking mouse ever, everyone had it. Why did the cancel the production, and why are they making these retarded shitty mice that cost five times more.
Why are leftover MX mouses running for Razer prices?

I'm currently using a death adder too, but it's left mouse button just died. Also, it has no rubber on the side of it, just regular plastic so it collects gunk really fucking easy and I have to clean it like daily, even though I wash my hands all the fucking time. Death Adder would be nice tho, but it's not worth the price tbqh, I miss my logitech baby.

Look at this nostalgiafag here clinging to his rose tinted past. Pathetic. The new one is objectively superior. You're just old and irrelevant, pops.
>>
>>334704428
Yeah, logitech's designs went to shit when they tried to appeal to the 'gamer' crowd.

But the old one looked fucking stupid as well.
>>

I know that feel anon, I had that exact mouse before this, the cable where it connects to the mouse broke or something. I think I bouhgt one of the last ones in my country too

My g400 died in a little over a year (works but left click has contact issues or something, detects the click but cant hold it down), but I did put the mx518 into its housing which was great.

bought the g502, but it was a worthless cheap toy, sold it to some kid with hands a full digit smaller than mine
>>
>not liking the G502
'wahh it has LEDs in it'
who gives a fuck, it has adjustable weight and a gr8 sensor
stop being a fag OP
>>
>>334705440
That's my personal favorite. I still buy refurbs every now and then for backup.
>>
Before rebrand (g300)
>>
>>334705440
From what I've heard, it's okay, but it's like a gimped version of the old models, made out of shitty cheap plastic, collects dirt real easy too.
It is however, cheaper than the regular GAYMING MOUSE 420 RAZER EDITION

Fuck I loved the MX518 but that shit would always break after 6 months.

I had two MX518s and one G400 and all of them started disconnecting randomly after about half a year, I think it's a common problem.
>>

I'm getting a steelseries rival 100 tomorrow, it doesn't have a retarded design, it has 2 face buttons, a mousewheel and two buttons on the side, relatively cheap too.

Anyone have this mouse?
>>
>>334705826
I'm convinced that the only reason Razer's shit is popular is because they now have one of the least garish designs while almost everyone else has gone full retard trying to appeal to GAMERZ
>>

>>
>>334704428
I use thumb trackballs.

There seems to be exactly one type
>>
I just want to know what the fuck happened to CoolerMaster that made them think that destroying their CM Storm Spawn godlike mouse, and replacing it with sharp edged literal shit with worse internals was a good idea.

best mouse they ever made, they also made a shittier version called the Xornet, which got a second version, but discontinued this godlike fucking ace mouse.
>>
>>334706110
I think you got a point there, razer is starting to become the apple of gayming accessories, completly cancer that garners a retarded fanbase for its overpriced plastic shit, but atleast the design is simple enough.
>>
>>334706027
>>334706072
Steelseries only have 2 thumb buttons, I need 3.

Is there a 2016 mouse tier list somewhere?

not that I wanna shill, but as someone who has been lost since logitech turned to shit and tried out a bunch of mice, this shit is the best quality I could find all over.

I wish the castor existed/didnt have rubber under the thumb when I bought mine naos 7000, whatever they cover this thing with is fucking magic, not sticky, not too grippy, doesn't come off at all (2 years and it looks brand new)

Also have an zowie ec2a which is great quality, but lacks all the features for the same price, also sticky plastic
>>
>>334704428
The G400S has literally the same design as the MX510 though.
>>
>>334706303
Corsair Vengeance M65 then. I love that shit before the middle button stopped responding.
>>
>>334704428
g502 is great, you must be doing something wrong if you really can't get used to it.

i used an mx510 for about 5-6 years before taking a break from gaming on pc and now I've been using a g502 for almost a year and it's great.
>>
>>334705440

i have one identical to that one

It is great. Middle mouse button started to double click after about 2 years, though.
>>
I bought a G400 to replace my MX512 five years ago.

I have a second unopened one for when my first one dies. I hope to never have to buy another mouse for the next 20 years.
>>
>>334706276
I had the xornet for a while, little light for my taste but it was damn good for the asking price. Switched it out with some ASUS one I got with my laptop, but the xornet lasted me several years.

Is the Zowie yellow mouse actually as good as it said?

Shit seems so overpriced for its look.

The best mouse I ever had was the sharkoon fireglider
It broke after like 6 years of use and I just bought a new one
They are 26€ and can do everything I need
5 mouse buttons and a simple macro program
>>
>>334706880
the difference between the spawn and the xornet sensor is miles apart, the xornet sometimes doesn't even work on mousepads, and skips like shit without the bloatware firmware, whereas the spawn works completely fine out of the box without any need for it.

only problem I have now is that the back button doubletaps sometimes, so that's why I wanna find a spawn replacement if I can, I'll have a look at reviews for the xornet II but I'm not hopeful.

It's pretty good. Maybe a bit light and the scrollwheel is a bit loud at first, the software is perfectly fine if you're used to 500 or 1000dpi settings. I was using 800 for over 10 years so it took me a while to adjust to 1000. I like the plastic on the sides way more than rubber simply because it's easier to clean and doesn't wear off. The teflon feet work well too just clean the edges of dust and grime. Lift of distance is a bit high. Been using the mouse for about 4 months now and i've had no issues whatsoever. No double clicking, no scrollwheel malfunctioning, no sensor hitching. It just works. Can'tcomplain/10

>he was so eager to shitpost he didn't even read it through
Wireless mice are great for everything but games.
You try it and you never go back.
>>
>>334707729
unless it can be charged, it's shit, even for the office. The only acceptable use for wireless mouse is for work laptops when you literally can't use a wired mouse because of the lack of space
>>
>>334708002
Bloody V7 has internal battery.
But I'm actually questioning that - it requires charging more often than replacing AAA batteries.
>>
>>334704428

To jew "gamers"
>>
>>334708268
A good middle ground is rechargeable batteries, you can buy 4 of them for like 10 bucks. Or just buy a wired mouse.

A4Tech X7 F6.
Best gaming mouse I've seen. Razershits are masters of clunky overdesign and uncomfortable button placements.
This baby is comfortable to hold, and buttons are easy to press with no chance of pressing them accidentaly.
Internal memory for scripts is a nice extra.
~13-15$ for regular model
~15-20$ for the one with braided outer covering on the cable for extra durability.

That's D-Pad like butons. All buttons (even the usual ones) are programmable for various basic macros that include consequential button presses, mouse movements, button presses in specific points of the screen etc.

>>334709319
Im sory anon, but I dont wanna to buy more expensive garbage with the same "trash sensor" just so I could brag that I play on "teh reel gammin mouse"
