According to /v/, a bad game like Skyrim should have lost its appeal a long time ago. How come that isn't actually the case, and can someone explain this phenomenon? But more importantly, how come Witcher 3 doesn't have as good mod tools as Skyrim?

I don't quite understand. What did The Witcher 3 need saving from? It got a completely overrated title, it took home practically all of the awards that were up for grabs, and it has outsold tons of the more well-known AAA titles.
