Nope, they were a shit team. Ruined my favorite game before Dark Souls, fucking Tenchu. First they made crap for weeaboos like Fatal Shadows, and ended making a totally disgusting piece of shit like Shadow Assassins. Since that shit game i started hating From Software pretty good.
It is amazing how they could make an excelent series like Dark Souls considering their history. It is like there were two From's, the evil one that killed Tenchu, and the good one, the one that brought DS.

Fatal Shadows was made by Acquire and K2, good buddy. Even with Shadow Assassins, all that From did was port it. Tenchu had been changing for a long, long time before From took the reigns squarely in their hands.

Armoured Core was milked to death, something like 25 games including spinoffs.

They were an okay under-the-radar developer. Honestly Souls is pretty good too, it just gets more scrutiny for being more popular.
