Sick and tired of seeing nothing but Dark Souls and WoW threads on page 0
Post any game unrelated to Blizzard or From Software in this thread and discuss it
Prince of Persia was so good. The blend of action and platforming. The castle design. It was all so good.

I just got Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth and put 10 hours into it in one day.
I can't remember the last time that happened, the Digimans woke up my inner autist.
Also I never really got into Digimon outside of having some of the virtual pet toys, so seeing ones like this crack me the fuck up.

Final Fantasy Tactics is by far the best Final Fantasy game, both in terms of game play and story. Discuss.

I'm going to play SMT 1 and 2 soon. I have the translated SNES versions, are those the best versions to play? And is there anything I should know going in?

Loved rdr, idk why but finding the treasures was so rewarding, I hope the map leak is true and Rdr 2 or whatever it will be called is confirmed. Also thanks, I will play it :)
Recently I discovered this game and I feel like its my responsibility to inform as many people as possible about it. I am not sure why but the feeling is completely unavoidable.
The game is called Mech Platoon. It's for the good old GBA and its a REAL TIME STRATEGY. You might be wondering, how the fuck is that even possible, which is completely reasonable wonderment considering the platform the game is on. But as it turns out its very possible, since this game is fucking great. I can easily put it on the same pedestal as other strategy titles on the system like Fire Emblem and Advance Wars. Despite being on the GBA, the game sacrifices nothing to be a solid RTS. The gameplay is as familiar as ever; you build a base, collect resources, research upgrades and build an army of units to take down your opponent. The main difference here is that during the campaign, you can collect parts left by the trashed enemy mechs to learn how to make them yourself. There are a fuckton of units to build because of this so you have pretty wide range of customization as it comes to making an army that fits your playstyle. The mission variety in the campaign is healthily robust as well, with three different factions to choose from, which translates to you getting all the missions you would expect from an RTS campaign. A single playthrough of the campaign should take around five to six hours, but you mainly do it to gather parts to make your preferred army for the MULTIPLAYER. Imagine playing an RTS on the fucking link cable and it being actually awesome. The game is not flawless, with the main flaw in my opinion being that the unit pathfinding is off sometimes, meaning you have to check up on your units now and then to make sure they are going to the right place.
I am legimately upset I didnt have this game when I was a kid, I would have drowned every hour I had to it. Anyone even slightly interested should try it out, even just to see how an RTS works on a platform not made for it.
