Like I said it's for my PS4. The game was individually ported for each console, the PC has some longer draw distance, sharper textures and better lightning, so they filled PS4 version with richer colors than the PC version for greater experience.

His true love was Triss and Ciri was to be there child of destiny however Geralt ended up binding his fate with Yen and he got forced into a relationship with her which ended up messing up his one with Triss. The books literally never says this. Post your quotes. She mentions that you can barely see the scars. It's the same thing as Yen. Look close enough and you can still see some details that point to her being a hunchback before getting fixed. Triss also is talking about ptsd that she got from getting rekted at Sodden. Her whole story arc in the books is literally her getting over that and her cowardice.

Well Geralt has a Rivian accent which for some reason they also decided to give to the other Witchers and to Dandelion and to Triss even though one is from Toussaint (though he did lose it) and the other is from Maribor. If they were doing it by the books then the only person who would have the same accent that Geralt has would be people who never even meet in the games.

It's a pretty good port and CDPR have done a really good job of supporting it and ironing out issues post-release, the one downside to this is that you're going to have to download about 10-12GB worth of updates after installing it.
Combat is kind of souls-esque, there's a bit a emphasis dodging and parries, however Geralt always soft-locks onto targets based on the direction he's moving in and the movesets are a lot simpler than souls games, you can hard-lock onto targets and manually aim your crossbow or bombs as well if you want to.
The skill system is divided into 3 main trees with a number of different tiers in each, to unlock a higher tier you need to invest a minimum number of points into a given tree, the trees are swordsmanship, signs (magic) and alchemy. You also need to equip skills in order to reap benefits from them, and you have a limited number of skill slots to put skills into, these slots are also divided into groups, the game encourages experimentation and different builds this way, and you can buy potions to reset all your spent skill points if you want to try a new build.
You also get mutagens which correspond to a particular skill tree and act like a buff, if you place a number of skills from a particular tree into a particular group and then assign a corresponding mutagen to that group, you gain a much greater benefit than using mixed skills in that group.
There is also a 4th skill tree which provides powerful generic bonuses, but there are no mutagens that correspond to it, so you have to decide if it's worth sacrificing a combat skill and part of a mutagen bonus for a big buff.

This anon is right the reason why Time of Contempt is of lower quality is because it was the author's first translation of the series. The Last Wish and Blood of Elves was translated by some woman. Forget what her name was something Stok. After that they then switched to French who did Time of Contempt and Baptism of Fire before going back and doing Sword of Destiny which is why Sword of Destiny is of higher quality as he had two books under his belt.
