You know, he's not wrong. The chestpiece and shoulders are VERY reminiscent of the 343-style MJOLNIR. A blind test without the game's backgrounds could very easily fool someone into thinking it's a new Halo armor permutation.

Not really. I could maybe see it with the chest piece and stomach but the type of surface detailing used is totally different, as is the color patterns. every other part of the armor is clearly non halo, 343 style or bungie's.
The body proportions are also way different.

343's style is having a consistent black undersuit with armor pieces attached. While the suit in the OP doesn't have it, it is not a stretch to imagine what it would look like if the brown sections were recolored to a pitch black. Some of those brown parts that look inflexible like the torso area would look much more like a bodysuit if they were colored over in a feature-concealing dark black.
Plus a lot of armor permutations look really strange and weird, especially during Halo 4's time. If a grainy screenshot like this appeared on its own back then, people would have been very likely to speculate that it was for Halo.
