If it's your first soulsborne, you're going to get murdered, shred to pieces, eaten alive (literally), thrown-up, eaten again. At first you'll be like "wtf this is bullshit". Then you'll learn from the pain. Then you'll long for it. Then you'll thank the game for fucking your casual ass bareback and turning you into an actual player.

Also get ready to miss 99% of the story line and not understand anything. First because you won't know how to get the information that matters. Second because you won't know how to engage NPCs so they actually tell you engaging stories.
And no I won't tell you how to do it, cause you gotta learn the hard way you filthy casual.
It can be hard sometimes. But just be smart when you play and you'll be fine. Understand that dying is part of the game, but for the first few hours you shouldn't die more than about 10 times.
