Red pill me on Gears 4, is it worth buying an Xbox One to play it?

Alright so after watching this video I can safely say the Single Player is gonna suck. There's no quirky or cocky character based on this video. It all just seems too serious and Gears is only suppose to get serious in the right moments.
Also too much walking and running around with nothing really happening and I can't judge the gameplay on it at all.
However after watching the multiplayer beta I can assure you its more of Gears 3, but possibly in 60 frames per second. Which is decent but sequels are meant to give you a lot of new stuff to play around with and Gears 4 seems to being going through the call of duty routine of marginal gameplay improvements.
Variety is the spic of life so if you were to buy a console I would hope it is cause of a new experience for you to enjoy, with all the old experiences as an extra tip.

Unless you can think of other games on the system that you'll want to play you're going to finish the one game you bought a 300 dollar system for and realize you basically spent almost 400 dollars just to play one game. It's not worth it.

Play gears 3 multiplayer and see if you like it the way it is right now before you make your decision.

I like the game, and it's still not worth getting a system for only one game. Do more research on what games you want that are only coming to the Bone, and if will be worth it for you.
Unrelated to the topic: Anyone know how Dark Sould back compat runs on the One? Been thinking of getting it and letting a deal or price drop come to 3 before I get that.
