Style is horrendously easy to accumulate in DmC, since it's mostly damage as opposed to actually doing stylish and varied moves.

I unironically believe that the Witcher 3 is the greatest RPG ever made, and the only reason /v/ hates it is because the series got too popular
I proudly own this game the same way I proudly own a copy of The Room. It is an absolutely bizarre piece of history in its medium that I still come back to occasionally when I want to revisit that particular moment in our hobby.
I play through laughing my ass off, still to this day totally bewildered that at no point during this game's conception and development did a single person look at this and say "What in the hell are you folks doing?" It's almost miraculous, in a way, that the game managed to be released at all.
I love it. It's the best video game example of 'so bad it's good'. And just for the sake of tradition

It still had a dull story and boring quests with only one faction. It ruins the lore like it did in a previous games and is just flat out an easy shooting game at this point. Fallout 3 and NV weren't great but at least they had more interesting things to do so it didn't feel like you were forced to play a role you didn't want to during the whole game

The game was meh, but still better than I expected with all the hate.
Bad:
It was too easy, Dontay was lame and angsty, story was a cheesy try hard attempt to contemporise the DMC universe, Vergil was gay and underdeveloped. Worst final boss battle in a DMC game ever!
Good:
Once you pump the difficulty up, combat was somewhat enjoyable and often carried enough of the DMC feel. Some of the bosses had interesting design and boss fights were generally engaging and fun, except for the final "boss".
Overall, it was kinda bad, but there was enough going for it to make one playthrough enjoyable. And that's coming from a fan of the series. DMC3:SE is actually my favorite game ever and I really, REALLY hope for an actual DMC5 where we can see Dante being Dante and everything done properly.
