I loved my N64. I don't care if it's competitors were better. Those were good times in my life.
Every popular N64 game works well enough in Project64 or Mupen.
It's only when you try playing the obscure ones that you run into problems.
Which is all well and good since the N64 has about 20 games worth playing, 30 if you really push it and start including mediocre titles.

I just gave up and had a friend sell me his old N64 cheap, and ordered an Everdrive64 online. Only games you can't play are japanese Animal Crossing and some Mario Photopi thing that I've never heard of before. Done waiting.
