There is a certain amount of truth to the words of this particular frogposter, that said for me at least the first few bosses in DS3 have been rather easy to deal with. I died a couple times at the cursed tree or whatever it's supposed to be, and I expect the sage to kill me a few more times before I figure out her pattern, but mostly I've found regular enemy mobs to be more difficult to deal with.
