I'd suggest Demon's Souls, but they're both so good that you could go in any order. I think Dark Souls is better, but there isn't anything in Dark Souls that makes the Demon's unplayable afterwards, like with some sequels.
Bought Bloodborne on release and played it for 3 hours.
I should give it another shot, but I really wasn't into the setting and gun shit.

Dark souls 2 was a poor attempt to recreate a game. It was made by people that didn't understand the first one and they let stuff slide when it too difficult, likely to improve the hype that "Darksouls is hard guize" Now I can clearly assume that it was rushed because it was being handled by a different team, which tells me that they wanted to get this game out as fast as possible.
Demons souls was a well designed game that had flaws from a lack of budget.
Darksouls was a recreation of that game with more budget and better design, but some forgivable control and camera issues
Bloodborne is even better designed but did what castlevania 4 did to casltevania and made it way faster without changing the basic systems of the game.
These three games are all well made by competent people without the team to make them perfect.
Haven't played Das3, getting tuckered out by the formula, might play it though so i can formulate an opinion on the series.

I kinda miss the guns after playing DaS 3. 2 gimped parrying horribly, and while it's a little better in 3, it's still not very good.
Meanwhile Bloodborne has the most overpowered defensive moves ever and a ranged parry that does damage and knockback even when you fuck up the timing that's functionally infinite because blood bullets.

I am assuming the PS4K 1) exists and 2) is a performance upgrade. Depending on how powerful it is, they could make a patch to uncap the framerate and run up to 60 on the PS4K. It's very possible that BB/DS3 use the same engine, and DS3 works fine at 60FPS unlike DS1-2, so the same could be true for BB. The PS4 no way in hell could run BB at 60, it can barely keep 30.

DS3 is pretty good but it borrows way too much from Demons and Dark to really be amazing. Too many copy and pasted elements. Still much better than 2. I haven't beaten 3 yet but I find it funny how there has been no references to anything in to 2 at all. It's like they know how shit it was.

I'd agree. I think it gets lost in translation because of the inherent nature of tier lists and stuff like that but it's pretty important to remember that no matter what order these games are put in they're all pretty decent.
Even DaS2, which I was happy to criticize was one of the best games the year it was released.
