What are the odds of another Dune game? Is there anything like it now? I want another RTS like Dune, where buildings can deteriorate, and you need to place foundations for buildings.

I doubt it. The state of sci-fi has deteriorated greatly since the late 90's. I don't think a major dev would spend the resources on a Dune game since how many under 30 people know or care about Dune?

I don't want there to be a new dune game. Do you see the new RTS games and other things modern gaming has created? I'd rather wait until they ahve their shit together. The units are all just so shit in each one of them.

If there were a modern movie remake of Dune, no matter how shit it is, at least it could spark some interest in the franchise.
