I almost always make it to the leaderboard. I don't go after snakes most of the time and practice a benevolent dictatorship and just scavenge and only attack those that threaten me. But I keep making stupid mistakes and dying to tiny snakes.

I only played a few hours of 2, didn't really like it so I can't speak for it but I really enjoyed the original and this just feels exactly like that only a lot smoother.
If you're not a fan of souls games or you're sick of them I wouldn't say there's anything here to suddenly change your mind though, it's mostly iterative.

In all seriousness, though, I haven't found any games lately that look appealing to me. The last game I played was the Talos Principle which was decent but a bit underwhelming and frustrating at times. The last game I had a real blast with was Devil Daggers but the repetition inherent to the game gets boring after a bit. Everything else just looks boring to me.
Dark Souls 2, I don't have a next gen consle yet. This is my first time playing it, and its pretty fun!
