Here are two scenarios for somebody in the market for a console:
They already own a pc, so no reason to buy an xbone as there are only a handful of true exclusives and little prospect of more coming.
They don't own a pc, so they're looking for the console that offers the best third party games experience while also having exclusives, ps4 wins here too.
Sunset overdrive is fun. Its got all the 360 games in the store now and if you already owned them, they are free.
Plus gold gives a 360 game on top of the 2 one games.

The only ones that do are PC gamers who are always looking to play something else.
Most of my friends don't care about PC gaming at all. They just want to play, relax. Most of them don't even care if its PS4 or xboxjuan, I'm 100% sure they won't build a PC even if I told them how to.

The console is region free. That's how people downloaded Dark souls 3 early and that's also how you can get different versions of 360 BC games which you couldn't on an actual 360.
Unlimited cloud saves are great too. There's always 2 saves of your games, locally and in the cloud. If your Xbox breaks by accident, you're good.

Titanfall is my jam and will likely remain so forever. It just spoils you with godly movement, gun balance, speed, combat, and fluidity. Literally can't play any other multiplayer FPS game without feeling slowed down or hindered. I LITERALLY cannot play Black Ops III because of that. Wall running feels too... slow. The guns feel heavy. The double jump feels like a gentle rise rather than an actual second jump and the charge for another jump ruins any possible chain wallruns. The maps don't lend themselves to the mechanics and often render them moot. And don't get me started on invisible walls. I would still say BlOps III is the best COD in a while and a good game overall, but like I said Titanfall spoiled me.
