Is it weird that I'm actually sort of having fun with the beta? Don't get me wrong, it could definitely use some improvements, but overall, I'm kind of digging it.
The maps, I think, are a little too big, too spread out, too easy to get lost in, and hard to find the action. That's a pretty big problem, but at least it will get sorted out through community maps. The matches seem a little long, but I'm guessing the beta is missing a lot of customization options. The 2 weapon loadouts... I actually think this is a pretty good idea. You can switch your loadouts when you die, so it isn't like you are stuck with the same two weapons the entire round. Without the weapon limit, the game would fall victim to the best player getting exponentially better weapons and becoming virtually untouchable over the course of the match.
Did ID Software really not include an option to adjust video settings in this beta? Fuck off.
