It was, though you didn't unlock him if you beat every ghost. Disappointing. I want to say you unlocked the Scrapbook if you did beat every Oxide ghost, but I might be mistaking that for the 100% completion.

yes big guys tiny/dingo are better because speed is the stat that is most important but many people use coco/ngin for speedrunning because the little bit more in turning makes many shortcuts more reliable and unlockable chars have higher average stats than stock ones

In the PAL version Penta was unfinished and could only be unlocked by cheat codes. He had 5/5 on all stats. In the US version he was balanced.
Also the unlockable bosses have slightly higher stats but are not really broken like PAL Penta.

Mainly went with Crash or Penta Penguin, Fake Crash too.

It has depth in terms of getting best times etc, the drifting and boost system plus tricks and risk-boosting is really great.

3D platformers are slowly returning.
The praise ratchet and clank got for being somewhat of a platformer was overwhelming.
That yookalaylee game is going to help a lot as well.

Sonic racing isn't even a real kart racer. It's more similar to F-Zero and other arcade racers than kart racers like CTR, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing or modnation racers.

I'd rather play Ripper Roo but no one has saves anymore when me and friends decide to play so it's the default characters from which Dingodile is obviously the best. It's a shame the best battle mode maps are not unlocked from the start.
