Xseed is a good publisher and localizer, they actively stand against censorship and make good limited editions that are priced very reasonably. Plus they're going to localize Trails Of Cold Steel 2, Ys: 8 and hopefully Xandu. They are the most deserving of support in my opinion.

Anthology is a side game kind of. It takes place afteranother ending where the characters loop enough for it to be Sachiko's birthday so they have a party together with her or else they die.It's a game so you get to know the characters more, even the lesser ones. Blood Driveactually references this twice with a couple characters and Sachiko's necklace.The game was never translated/localized though.

XSEED used to be so memetastic a few years back. Ys Seven also has some weird ass dialogue and renamed characters.
Look, I loved Corpse Party on the PSP. Genuinely gave me trouble sleeping because of that FUCKING surround sound bullshit, no other horror game has ever done that.
But.
Everything that isn't that has absolutely sucked. I hate to say it because I wish it could all be good, but it's not. Blood Drive sucks, Book of Shadows sucks. It all just sucks. There clearly are not any good stories to tell beyond the first, and it's all fallen prey to that awful "raising the stakes" bullshit that happens to all similar contained stories that try to force a continuation.

It's got a kind of top-down RPGish walking around thing going on, but there aren't any RPG elements in the PSP version. You walk around and find things, figure out where to go, occasionally dodge some stuff, that sort of thing. Other than that, most of the exposition is in dialogue form with talking heads and occasional VN-style CGs.
It's not quite VN-tier but it's not heavy on actual gameplay. I still think it's worth checking out.
