ITT: That one game you got for your birthday/christmas and it was absolute garbage from the second you could see it, but you didn't want to disappoint your family so you stuck through it and pretended to like it and finished it.

Good god there were some awkward times

shitty movie games are the most bought ones
>>
>>334578457
I'm gonna actually defend this game. It wasn't great but it's the closest thing to an actual "Battle for Bikini Bottom" successor. There was definitely a lot of shitty parts to it and the movie tie in was awful but it still had some of the those good Battle for Bikini Bottom feels.

I actually threw a shitfit and lectured my mom on why you're supposed to rent games before you buy them because then you don't end up with shit like this.

I was an autistic little fucker.
>>
>>334578457
Fuck you man, the Patty boat levels are GOAT
>>
>>334579884
But that was from the era of Disney games that actually weren't ass.

And it was one of the ones that wasn't ass.
>>
>>334579884
You're also an asshole
>>
>>334580480
Compared to the other good games of the era, it was ass. And it's aged like dogshit, I tried playing it out of nostalgia a while back and it hasn't held up.
I would have much rather had gotten something like Yoshi's Island or Kirby Superstar. Not generic licensed kid game #46.
>>
>>334580616
lol I won't deny it

But my mom used to rent me a game every week, so I had developed a taste for good games and she just brings this garbage home one week to "surprise" me.
I know her heart was in the right place, but jesus fuck woman, couldn't you have gotten me something I rented often like Pocky and Rocky?
>>
I didn't even like the movie
>>
>Parents always asked what game I wanted
>Aunt is the only one who bought be games unsolicited and she got me American McGee's Alice, Dungeon Keeper 1&2 and Myst

Never had this problem thankfully
>>
bought this for my bro, he liked it

played it and it's shit

Played that for a while, kinda liked it because it reminded me of Toy Story 2 on ps1, you being so small and all that.
Of course the latter was much better.

Terrible, i ended up playing the original more, this game got old pretty fast.

And i was satisfied with some pretty bad games back then too.
>>
>>334578457
That was one of the first PS2 games I got and I liked it enough to reach near the end, at least past the boss battle against Dennis on Hasselhoff.
>>
>>334578185
I liked that game
>>
>>334582349
I enjoyed playing Rampage World Tour

It wasn't that bad. Just a chore to play through.

It was also in Finnish instead of English for some godforsaken reason.

It's not garbage but I had no idea how localization worked back then so when I saw emerald on the shelf of a store and had no idea what it was aside "OMG NEW POKEMON" I asked that for my birthday.
Once I got it turns out it was an ENG version but I didn't want to trouble my parents so I kept my mouth shout, at the end it ended up being a good deal because it helped me with the English vocabulary and apparently the PAL localization of the game still needed a year or so to come out.

To this day I don't think I opened it.
To be honest, my mother would always get me games like this.
She knows what games I like, but she'd see games like this in a dollar bin so she'd just get them for me.
I just remember never playing this Scorpion King game.
I think mine came with an AMAZING SKATEBOARD STICKER INSIDE.
